The manager and all the team at Apollo Care have been absolutely amazing and have made a massive difference to my mum’s quality of life, and removed huge amounts of stress for the family.

They go over and above, have somehow managed to maintain their high standards through COVID and are a genuinely lovely and caring team of people.

If they are ever concerned about my mum in any way they raise this with me and we work together to try and find the best solutions. I literally could not get by without them! A massive thanks to you all.

Apollo (South Wirral) looked after my aunt for many years, and we always found them very professional and gave of their time in a very caring and professional manner. I often met them during their visits to my aunt and was always impressed by their care. My aunt was mobile and proudly independent, but we found the staff at Apollo always gave her the support she needed. I would like to thank Apollo (South Wirral) for all the support they gave to my aunt and also and importantly to her family.

Generally very helpful and kind. Make sure I have taken my diabetic medication, have eaten and have plenty to drink particularly if hot. Have a nice chat and maintain a person’s dignity. I chose Apollo anyway for this reason, as I had used other service providers and found their service aimed at the client – really nice people.

We required urgent home care to allow my brother-in-law to be discharged from hospital as non-state provision was available. Apollo Care responded and had cover arranged within days to accommodate his initial month out of hospital. Following the initial period, we were able to sort out an enhanced care cover programme with them to cover the next six months. Various staff members have been involved with the home visits and all have been caring, professional and responsive. Throughout this period Apollo have never failed to satisfy their commitments and short notice adjustments that he has requested have been successfully accommodated.

Apollo Care make a huge difference to my life and that of my mum. The management responds quickly and the staff are all wonderfully caring and attentive to my mums altering and evolving needs. There has never been one day in the last twelve months since we began with Apollo that we have not felt the benefit and appreciated having found them.
I do not worry about my mum to the same extent as I did as I know someone will let me know of the slightest sign of Mum being ‘not herself’. Additionally Mum has visitors to chat to twice a day even if she stays in the house. I know she is eating and drinking properly and it is a huge weight off my shoulders. Mum loves them all and recognises all of her carers are different but great in their own unique way. Neither of us have a single bad word to say. Apollo are exactly as they say on the tin!

I am so impressed with the service my mother receives. Friendly, caring staff who have really got to know Mum and what will make her happy. Living far away I am confident they will keep Mum’s best interests at the heart of what they do. From the first contact, Apollo Care has shown a dedicated and professional approach.

Getting Mum to accept care was a challenge but since Apollo Care started making their visits my mum looks forward to seeing the wonderful staff. They take time to sit and talk to Mum in the afternoons as this is when she can feel lonely, Apollo Care has been a lifesaver for the family and we know Mum is being looked after, Mum now considers the staff her friends. The office staff keep me informed and updated on any changes, I would not hesitate to recommend Apollo Care.

The staff I have met have all been excellent. They always question medication when appropriate and I am very happy with their services. The carers are friendly making my granddad feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible at all times. Overall I am impressed with the service that my grandad has received.

My mum finds the carers very friendly and willing. She says that they can’t do enough for her and always ask if there’s anything else she would like them to do. I have peace of mind knowing that she is in their care.

Apollo (South Wirral) has been caring for my mother for nearly twelve months. It was a difficult transition because, after being hospitalised for a medical emergency, the authorities had put her in a care home and were reluctant to allow her to leave without what has turned out to be overly burdensome care requirements. Apollo were extremely helpful in helping me to get my mother back home. Without their willingness to liaise with the authorities it would have been a whole lot harder. Since that time they have been unfailingly reliable and incredibly patient (and not a little tolerant) with an elderly woman of variably impaired cognitive ability, fastidious in ensuring they address issues with her medication and have, on several occasions, gone beyond what could reasonably have been expected of them.
